I worked with Senator Ivan Name Vasquez from August 2021 to July 2022. I was the only graphic designer in his communications team and my first task was to create his personal brand.

Ivan is a kind person and has deep knowledge of Colombia's history and politics. He wanted to approach a younger audience so I chose Coolvetica and Pacifico for his logo, where the sharp edges and sobriety of Coolvetica represent his technical approach to problems due to his knowledge and the handwritten style of Pacifico represents his friendly and approachable personality.

Some of my other tasks included:

- Design up-to-date content for social media.
- Communication strategies planning and fulfillment.
- Re-election campaign planning (with a team) with its full visual design.

Every week I created content for Ivan like this post where I explain one of his proposals as a Senator. For every post, I created variations for Instagram (stories and post format), Twitter and Facebook. Our goal was to make at least 3 publications weekly.

Every day we made sure to post relevant information to gain new voters for the re-election campaign for Senator Name. I categorized our posts as follows:

We closed with a beautiful in-person event held to commemorate the Senator's work throughout his life and the efforts made during the campaign.

Thanks to all we planned as a team and I executed as the only designer, the campaign was successful and Ivan was re-elected as a Senator of the Republic on March 13, 2022.

Currently, Senator Ivan Name Vasquez is the President of the Congress of Colombia.

I worked with Senator Sandra Ramirez from August 2020 to July 2021. I was the only graphic designer in her communications team and my first task was to create her personal brand.

Sandra is a strong woman that has lived Colombia's politics like no one else. Her personality is very sweet and she is always looking to help Colombian farmers since she comes from them, so I chose Harabara to represent her strength with thick letters and defined edges, and Antipasto to represent her openness towards people through its rounded yet elegant style.

Within my responsibilities was the creation of two reports at the end of my contract to show all the initiatives held by the Senator during the year I worked with her, making sure to showcase some of the best campaigns and making sure that the document also reflected her brand identity.

I worked with Senator Alexander Lopez Maya from August 2019 to July 2020. I was the only graphic designer in his communications team and my first task was to create his personal brand.

Alex's main concern is to fight for the rights of the most vulnerable communities in Colombia. He's a good human being and always puts others' interests in front of his own, so I chose Mayeka Bold to represent that determination, and I used Freestyle Script to represent his kindness and flexibility when proposing solutions for the community.

Every week I created content about Alex's actions as a Senator. For every post, I created variations for Instagram (stories and post format), Twitter and Facebook. Our goal was to make 2 publications weekly.

I was also in charge of designing the content for an in-person event designed to raise awareness among the citizens about the social leaders that were victims of the country's violence. The event was held in February 2020.
